Our Fun Run, Walk & Roll Fundraiser kicks off 9/25 at Cottage Lake Elementary!
This is our annual commmunity fundraiser where students reach out to family members, friends, neighbors, and community members to raise $35,000 to support school favorites like Monster Mash, Toymaker, and Carnival, plus learning enrichment programs (Scholastic, field trips, art docents), staff appreciation, playground, garden club, and student grants.
🏆 Nightly Challenges start after kickoff—classes can win rewards and earn school-wide incentives!
🎉 Mark your calendars for the Big Event on 10/9 when students will run, walk, and roll to celebrate together. (More details coming soon!)

COTTAGE LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
This is such a great time for us to come together as a community and celebrate the launch of the school year! The event will be held outside near the playground and covered area. We hope to see you there!
We are looking for art docent volunteers! Art docents prepare and teach a monthly art lesson in the classroom. Training and project lessons are provided, no art background is needed.
Commitment levels are flexible! Work as a team with other classroom Art Docent volunteers and have fun being the students' favorite part of the day! Register Here
Contact Amelia King, artdocent@cottagelakepta.org, with any questions.
Our PTA meeting will be held September 15, following curriculum night for grades 4/5, in the CLE Library. The Cottage Lake Elementary PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit made up of parents, teachers, and community members working working to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities. While we’re an independent organization, we work closely alongside the school to support students, families, and staff.
The PTA helps fill funding gaps to make sure our kids have what they need—and goes beyond that to provide the ‘extras’ that make school special, from enrichment programs to community events.
Please join us in congratulating this year's PTA award recipients:
Golden Sailboat/Outstanding Educator Award: Kristen Simpson
Golden Anchor/Outstanding Staff Award: Christie Pak
Golden Acorn/Outstanding Volunteer Award: Marie Engstrom
These three individuals embody the dedication, passion, and commitment that make Cottage Lake Elementary such a special place. Their contributions have made a meaningful impact on our students, staff, and community, and we are grateful for all they do. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
