*What is the PTA and why should I join/volunteer/donate?
The Cottage Lake PTA is an organization of Sailor parents that work closely with the school administration and staff to support the educational and extracurricular experience of all our students. Today, due to severe funding deficiencies from the state, PTAs have taken on many of the responsibilities for providing the "extras" a school offers - classes, programs, school equipment, classroom funds, and events.
In addition to supporting these programs, your membership comes with discounts to places like Great Wolf Lodge, the Washington State Fair, the Seattle Symphony, and car rentals through Avis and Budget.
The CLE PTA is seeking an organized and enthusiastic volunteer to lead the planning and execution of our annual Monster Mash. This is a fun, free to attend, community-focused event that brings together students, families, and staff in a festive environment. This year event will be held on Friday October 24, 2025.
PTA General Meeting - All Are Welcome!

Join us as we kick off the new school year!
This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the start of an exciting year ahead.
The event will take place outside near the playground and covered area. Please note that the playground is still under renovation, but we’ll have plenty of space to gather and connect.
We look forward to seeing you there!
As the school year kicks off for our kindergarteners, the PTA would love to get to know and support you. We invite you to stay after drop-off to meet other parents of kindergarteners. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, share experiences, and ask any questions you might have—especially to parents with older students who have been through it all before!
We look forward to building a supportive community together.
See you there!
We hope you're soaking up the sunshine, making memories, and enjoying a well-deserved break! We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September for another great school year.
A Few Important Reminders:
August 16 - All incoming Kindergarten families are welcome to join our Kindergarten playdate from 11:30 to 1:00 at Cottage Lake Park. It's a great way to meet new CLE friends. Bring a lunch for your family, and we’ll bring the popsicles!

Outdoor and indoor volunteer opportunities – join us!
